Outdoor shoots are great fun, but I do love a shoot that takes place in the family home, especially with very young children. This little girl and her dog charmed me the moment I stepped through the front door, insistent that I come upstairs to see the tree – it was just before Christmas. So, in and out of rooms we went, parents in tow, which allowed for plenty of family photo opportunities, using the natural light from the windows. The family had just discovered that they were moving abroad, so they said that photographs of the interesting features around the house would mean a lot to them. The very best of this set ended up in a photo book, which I hope will help keep the memories strong!
