Glamping at the Hay Festival

A seemingly quintessentially British festival, all marquees, pimms and bunting. Yet it’s not an event that harks back to times gone by. Instead the Hay festival celebrates literature and diversity of ideas, bringing a wide range of authors and speakers to this very international festival. The kids enjoyed it too, in between queuing for sheep’s milk ice cream and enjoying the craft tent, they chortled at the words of Michael Rosen and listened to none other than Judith Kerr talking about using google images for inspiration when it comes to drawing seals. Hay-on-Wye, we’ll be back.
